IDA Foundation was established in 1972 by a small group of pharmacists. Their goal was to make healthcare accessible and affordable for those people in the world who are most in need of medicines and medical supplies. Over the years, IDA acquired a strong reputation as a respected supplier to large intergovernmental organizations, international and national governmental organisations, aid organisations, wholesalers serving institutional markets and many other public healthcare institutions. IDA Foundation has been recognised and approved by the European Commission Humanitarian Aid Organisation (ECHO) as a Humanitarian Procurement Centre (HPC).
Nowadays, IDA Foundation distributes more than 3,000 different medicines and medical supplies to over 100 countries worldwide. The initial goal of IDA never changed and continues to be the driving force for our 150 employees to continually improve IDA’s services, negotiate lower prices and increase product availability
In a world where many economically disadvantaged countries have low-resourced public health systems, it is critical that affordable medicines of good quality are available to patients. As the world’s leading not-for-profit supplier of affordable healthcare, IDA Foundation does just this: offering a wide range of quality-assured and WHO-prequalified essential medicines and medical supplies from stock.
Our mission is to improve access to and deliver high-quality essential medicines and medical supplies at the lowest possible price to low- and medium-income countries.
As an independent and self-supporting not-for-profit organisation, we do not have any shareholders looking for return on their investment; any profit that IDA makes is channelled through to the customer by lowering product prices or by investing in the quality and availability of essential medicines. Transparency is therefore of vital importance. We regularly publish our product prices and annual reports, we communicate openly the developments within the organisation and we have a transparent QA/QC system. We also offer our customers insight into their order and shipment status online.

Candidate Profile:
The candidate should have excellent English written and communication skills.
Good in MS Office especially in excel.
The candidate should be a 1st class graduate.
